The Tradeport Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for various administrative and operational tasks within the warehouse. They play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and accurate handling of goods and their movement within the warehouse, utilizing various warehouse management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against invoices to ensure accuracy
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records within the warehouse management system ensuring real-time visibility of stock levels
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions
- Coordinate product transfers between warehouses, ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods
- Collaborate with shipping, receiving, purchasing and other departments for issues related to shipping, paperwork, or finished goods
- Create ad-hoc reports as requested by management, utilizing data from the warehouse management system and other sources
- Respond to inquiries concerning inventory, and shipping
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 1+ years experience providing accurate and efficient data entry support within a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint with a strong emphasis on Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years experience utilizing specific WMS platforms (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle WMS, etc.)
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Familiarity with inventory control principles and best practices
- Experience with barcode scanning equipment
