The HR Specialist is responsible for providing administrative support for the HRBP Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures timely and accurate handling of incoming calls, emails, mail, employee questions and requests, and directing employees to the appropriate resources
  • Assist with special projects such as researching and providing information related to company policies, compliance, and other Human Resources programs as assigned
  • Coordinate job postings with the Talent Acquisition Team
  • Assist with the development and revision of specifications and job descriptions for selected positions
  • Administrative tasks to support the delivery of core HR processes like onboarding, terminations, exit interviews, retirements, timekeeping, and program implementations, including benefits, compensation, and performance management
  • Assist in coordinating company and/or employee events
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or relevant field required

  • At least 3 years’ experience in HR required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook)
  • Demonstrated skills in Human Resources administration, projects, or leadership role
  • Demonstrated skills with effective written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated ability to train groups of people
  • Demonstrated skills in problem solving
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple types of HR and employee documentation, both in electronic and paper form

Preferred Qualifications

  • Manufacturing industry experience
  • Experience with unionized employee populations
  • Prior experience in leading teams and/or projects
  • UKG experience a plus
