POSITION OVERVIEW

The National Account Manager is a revenue-generating role responsible for driving sales growth, expanding distribution, and maximizing profitability of the EAS portfolio within assigned chain accounts. This role focuses on winning new business, executing customer programs with excellence, and delivering measurable sales results. This position will be responsible for coverage of the following states: Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, and West Virginia.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver assigned sales, volume, and distribution goals by developing and executing winning business plans for assigned chain accounts.
  • Secure new product placements, expand shelf space, and optimize planograms to drive incremental revenue.
  • Present EAS product lines, programs, and promotions to customers with a focus on closing distribution and promotional opportunities.
  • Utilize sales data and account insights to identify high-potential growth opportunities and build compelling sales stories.
  • Negotiate customer programs, promotional investments, and trade terms that maximize ROI and strengthen account partnerships.
  • Partner with the Director, Sales Emerging Channels, to develop and implement trade and channel strategies that accelerate sales performance.
  • Attend trade shows, distributor meetings, and customer events to network, prospect, and expand EAS visibility in the market.
  • Track and report on customer performance, promotional effectiveness, and competitive activity to drive timely adjustments and maintain sales momentum.
  • Consistently deliver revenue growth by identifying, capturing, and executing against existing and emerging business opportunities.

 

Qualifications:

Required

  • 7+ years of sales experience in the CPG industry with a proven record of exceeding quotas and delivering revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated success managing national or regional chain accounts with strong negotiating and closing skills.
  • Expertise in sales analytics, category management, and trade spend optimization.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to influence customer decision-makers.
  • Self-starter with a competitive mindset, results-driven focus, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience using CRM or sales tracking tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field required.
