The Automated Pouching Operations Line Mechanic/Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting pouching machines to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. This role involves performing routine maintenance, addressing mechanical issues, and ensuring safety and quality standards compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor pouching machines to ensure optimal performance and product quality
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on pouching machines to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operation
- Identify and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimize production interruptions
- Monitor the production process to ensure products meet quality specifications. Conduct periodic checks and implement corrective actions as necessary
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, machine performance, maintenance tasks, and quality control data
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations. Promote a safe working environment
- Work closely with other departments, such as quality control and maintenance, to ensure smooth production processes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, particularly in pouching operations
- Strong mechanical skills and the ability to perform routine maintenance tasks
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good computer skills to use the Manufacturing Reporting System
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and handle materials throughout the shift
