Swisher Service - Building Community from the Inside Out
The Swisher Community Service Committee (“Swisher Service”) was formed by employees in the Spring of 2015 with the mission of improving the local community through participation in service projects while fostering positive relationships among coworkers within the Swisher community.
The group strives to achieve this goal with a three-pronged approach: partnering with local non-profits on hands-on service projects, creating awareness of local issues through Lunch and Learn programs, and promoting fun and fellowship while participating in charity sporting events. Specific areas of interest are disadvantaged youth, military/veteran’s issues, poverty/hunger/homelessness, human rights, and literacy.
Organizations and Causes Supported by Swisher Service are:
Northeast Florida Aids Network, Foster Closet, Springfield Preservation and Revitalization (SPAR), National Multiple Sclerosis Society – Bike MS, Sulzbacher Center, The Donna Foundation, Hubbard House, Never Quit, Ronald McDonald House, The Bridge of NE Florida, Feeding NE Florida, Habijax, K-9 United, and many more…
The threat of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has impacted all our lives, changing the way we interact and how we go about our daily activities. At Swisher, our top priority is the health, safety and well-being of our employees, both present and future. To assist with the safety of everyone, Swisher is temporarily suspending interviews/hiring for some positions. All available positions are listed on our website. If you have been scheduled for an interview or are in the hire process, a Swisher representative will contact you as soon as possible to discuss next steps.
Please continue to monitor our site for updated information. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 status carefully with the goal of resuming additional hiring efforts in multiple locations as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience, and we appreciate your interest in working at Swisher.
